Our Shirts

The shirts we use for our product are manufactured in the United States, in a sweatshop free environment in downtown Los Angeles. American Apparel uses certified organic cotton that is grown without the use of pesticides or chemicals and the shirts are not dyed or bleached once manufactured. As a result, you may see raw fibers or specks in the shirts. These specks usually are removed by bleaching or dyes in conventional cotton products; however, we think they are what make organic cotton shirts unique!

Why Only Natural Color Shirts?

Little Green Star wants to provide you with the best quality product. We are continuing to search for shirts that are dyed with non-toxic inks. Until that happens, we think you'll be happy in our natural colored, unbleached shirts! They are so soft and snuggly, you'll wish they came in adult sizes too!

Why Do We Use Water-Based Inks?

Little Green Star is proud to use water-based inks, which are free from most environmentally damaging chemicals such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC), phthalate, heavy metals, and formaldehyde. Our screen printer uses inks from Matusi. Please visit their website for more information. The alternative to water-based inks are plastisol inks, which is made from liquefied PVC. Need I say more? :)

Washing Instructions

Turn the shirt inside out. For best results, wash in cold water using a mild detergent. Air drying is best, but if you opt to tumble dry, use a low setting.

Shipping & Handling

We happily offer free shipping on all orders over $50.00 anywhere in the US! On all orders less than $50.00, shipping is a flat rate of $3.50. All items are shipped via First Class Mail or USPS Priority mail. International customers should contact us prior to processing your order so that we may provide you with a shipping cost quote.

Sales Tax

Orders being shipped anywhere in California are subject to 8.50% sales tax. Sorry, its the law!

Methods of Payment

We accept VISA, Discover, MasterCard and American Express, as well as PayPal payments. Currently, all transactions are handled via PayPal, which is a secure and trusted company owned and operated by eBay. You do not need to have an existing account with PayPal nor do you need to sign up for one when purchasing our products.

Return policy

Purchases may be returned within 30 days of the purchase date, unused, unwashed, in original condition and packaging, for a complete refund, (excluding shipping charges). For exchanges, we may be able to make a size exchange only if we have the item in stock. Please contact us for information on how to return your item to us.
